Dame Bradbury's U11 girls won in a well-matched football game against Radwinter last week.
On Friday 10th November our Year 5 football team made the short trip to Radwinter to play Radwinter Primary in an U11 football match.
It was a very competitive and tight match, with both teams creating scoring opportunities and the goalkeepers making some good saves. As the game went on, Dame B's started to take control and keep possession.
Eventually the deadlock was broken by a fantastic strike from captain and player of the game Robyn. She smartly controlled the ball and pushed it past a defender on the edge of the box, then shot accurately into the corner of the goal. Despite a few defensive scares towards the end of the game Dame B's deservedly held on to secure a fantastic 1-0 win.
A very exciting match for all involved, well done girls!
