Dame Bradbury's continue their athletic prowess by becoming Cross Country County Athletics Champions.
The Year 6 girls cross country team travelled to Hadleigh Park to compete in the County Finals. Having won the Uttlesford Schools competition, they represented the district on a blisteringly hot day at the former Olympic mountain biking venue.
With 14 schools from around the county competing, the girls all ran superbly and scored a team total of 43 team points (lowest score being best). They were crowned county champions ahead of second place who scored 60 points. The girls have shown real commitment to training throughout the Easter holidays and their hard work was repaid with a fantastic result! We are all extremely proud of you, well done girls!
