Last summer, our 1st XI played a fixture against the XL Club with marks awarded for sportsmanship, captaincy, as well as playing skills (teamwork, batting, bowling and fielding). The award was supported by the match manager’s and umpire’s report. Well done to the team involved.

On 17 November our Head of Cricket, Ray Mordini and 1st XI team captain, David T were invited as guests to the annual dinner in the Long Room at Lords to receive the award. It was a fantastic event and in particular a nice reward for David for all his commitment to cricket during his time at Stephen Perse.

David said “It was a fantastic experience to dine in the historic long room and I am extremely grateful to the Forty Club for the opportunity”.
