Following on from their success in the Saffron Walden competition, Dame Bradbury’s Junior School were crowned joint winners with Great Dunmow Primary School at the Lord Butler Leisure Centre after a close competition of 24 track and field events.

Sam Godfrey, Head of Sport at Dame Bradbury’s Junior School, said: “I’m incredibly proud of our U9 athletics team and being named joint winners with a very strong performance from the Great Dunmow side. Our pupils have worked really hard in their PE lessons to improve in each event. Our Year 4’s are a very talented group and it is exciting to see how they will progress over the next few years.”
