Year 5 & 6 explore the innovative architecture of the Judge Business School.
On Wednesday 14 March, a group of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils was shown around the innovative building that is the Judge Business School. What a treat it was, not least because we were introduced to our fascinating tour guide, Luther Phillips, whilst enjoying some delicious bacon rolls provided by the School.
Our tour began in the Lobby with a brief history of the building which is a refurbishment and extension of the original Addenbrooke's Hospital, first established on the site in 1766.
Luther pointed out to us the floating staircases and many booths around the building, which are used by those at JBS to collaborate, network and think about business, finance and operations.
Luther told us that the entrepreneurial students who attend the School are given the opportunity there to take ideas and turn them into reality.
We are very grateful to have been given the opportunity to see this amazing building from the inside and to learn a bit about what goes on here.
