Our main entry points are Year 7 and Year 9. However, it is possible that places will become available in other year groups. The admissions process follows the same timeline for all applicants in Year 7-10.
Families usually get in contact with us when their child is in or just starting Year 6 or Year 8. Our admissions team will send out details of key dates and relevant information according to the senior school's admissions timeline.
We really do encourage you to visit. You can get a real sense of a school during open events or organised tours.
Our online form is available whenever you are ready to make the application. The form will take around 15 minutes to complete and must be completed in one sitting. Supporting documents will also be requested, and it is useful to have these to hand before starting:

Applicants will be invited to attend our assessment day, which takes place in January each year. We aim to ensure this day is as enjoyable as possible for all children. We provide refreshments throughout the day and all the tasks are intentionally designed to be short, accessible and stimulating.
Assessments can cover areas such as English, maths, verbal/non-verbal reasoning.

We begin making offers in early February. The deadline to accept a place is the first Monday in March.
